$239 billion! Global solar investment breaks record
According to BloombergNEF’s Renewable Energy Investment Tracker for the Second Half of 2023, investment in large and small solar systems totaled $239 billion, accounting for two-thirds of total global renewable energy investment in the first half of the year. China remains the largest investor in solar, accounting for approximately half of all large- and small-scale solar investments in the first half of 2023. The United States is the second largest investor, with a cumulative investment of US$25.5 billion.
