India: Exports of photovoltaic products surge by 2696.4% in the first half of 2023
According to data from the U.S. Department of Commerce, India exported $463.8 million (approximately Rs. 38.6 billion) of photovoltaic cells and photovoltaic modules in the second quarter of 2023, a year-on-year increase of 169%; compared with the previous quarter, exports fell by 3.1% from the previous quarter. Among them, components account for about 98% of the country's total photovoltaic product exports. From the perspective of exports, the export value of India's photovoltaic products in the first half of 2023 has increased significantly by 2696.4% year-on-year.
