Meyer Burger won $224 million to build a 3.5GW battery module plant in Europe
Meyer Burger has announced that its €2 million ($2.244 million) funding application has been assessed as "eligible" by the European Commission, which is expected to issue a formal funding decision by the end of the year. According to Meyer Burger, the funds will be used for the High Efficiency PV Module Production in Europe (HOPE) project, which includes a 3.5 GW solar cell and module factory.
