Italy’s solar installed capacity reached 3.5GW from January to September
Latest statistics from Italian energy agency Gestore dei Servizi Energetici (GSE) show that Italy added about 3.5GW of new photovoltaic capacity through about 280,000 systems in the first nine months of this year. As of the end of September 2023, the country's cumulative installed photovoltaic power generation capacity reached 28.57GW.
