Nigeria and Sun Africa of the United States invest US$2.2 billion to build a 961MW photovoltaic + energy storage project
This week, Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu, held a meeting with US renewable energy solutions provider Sun Africa LLC in Nigeria’s federal capital, Abuja. The two parties will work together to build renewable energy projects to enhance Nigeria’s power installed capacity. The cooperation aims to build a photovoltaic (PV) project with a capacity of 961MW and a battery energy storage system of 455MWh, with a total investment of US$2.2 billion.
