Brazil’s installed solar capacity exceeds 35GW
Brazilian media reported on November 13 that according to data from the Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association (Absolar), Brazil’s solar installed capacity exceeded the 35 gigawatt (GW) mark, accounting for 15.9% of the country’s installed electricity capacity, and solar energy accounted for approximately 11% of the total power generation. % (wind power 15%, hydropower 64%).
