SunPower sued for alleged false financial reports!
Recently, a class action lawsuit was filed against the US solar company SunPower. The company was accused of misleading consumers by failing to accurately disclose its revenue, cost and inventory indicators. SunPower disclosed an internal controls issue on Oct. 24, saying "the company initially determined in preparing its financial statements that consignment inventory prices for microinverter components at certain third-party locations were overstated by approximately $16 million to $20 million."
