India's installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation exceeds 68GW
According to a new report by SBICAPS, India will have to add more than 30GW of solar capacity per year to reach the target of 293GW of PV installations in the optimal energy mix for the 2029-30 period. As of May 31, 2023, the country has installed 68GW of photovoltaic capacity.
