Dutch government allocates €412m to support 'circular' PV panel manufacturing
A few days ago, the Dutch cabinet announced that it will allocate 412 million euros through the National Growth Fund to support the manufacture of solar modules based on circular economy. The Netherlands currently has plans for a 3 GW solar cell factory in the MCPV consortium of nine companies. "Large companies, SMEs, start-ups and educational institutions in the Netherlands are collaborating on research into recycling battery technologies made from alternative and non-critical raw materials," the Dutch government said.
