Chile’s photovoltaic power generation investment boom continues
Chile's "Three O'clock" reported on February 22 that at the beginning of 2024, 20 photovoltaic power generation projects have submitted environmental impact assessment applications to the Intellectual Environmental Assessment Agency (SEA), accounting for a quarter of the total number of applied projects, with a total investment of 2.023 billion US dollars, including 4 large-scale photovoltaic projects with investment exceeding US$200 million. Among them, the Carolina Sola and Don Patricio photovoltaic parks have the highest investment amounts, with estimated investment amounts of US$380 million and US$368 million respectively.
