Greece’s renewable energy production hits record in 2023
The Greek Daily News reported on January 31 that Greek power grid operator ADMIE stated that Greece’s wind, solar and hydro energy production will hit a record high in 2023. Last year, Greece's net energy production exceeded 25 terawatt hours, of which renewable energy and hydropower generation accounted for 57% of Greece's energy structure, an average annual increase of 8.5% from 2022.
