Brazil will import 17.5GW of photovoltaic modules in 2023
Brazil imported 17.5GW of photovoltaic modules in 2023, down 1.7% from the record 17.8GW in 2022, according to a new report from Brazilian consultancy Greener. Part of the reason why module imports in 2023 dropped slightly year-on-year is that the previous year's import data was "too high." According to public information, Brazil's imports of solar panels surged by 70% in 2022.
