French PV reaches 20GW milestone
The French Ministry for Ecological Transition said that between October and December, approximately 955 MW of new photovoltaic systems were connected to the grid. By the end of December 2023, France’s cumulative photovoltaic installed capacity will reach 20.0GW. In 2023, the new solar power generation capacity will be 3.2GW. France will add 2.68GW and 2.57GW in 2022 and 2021 respectively.
