Australia to build a polysilicon plant
Recently, investment management company Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners acquired a 200-hectare land in Townsville, Australia, for the construction of a polysilicon production plant. The project is powered by a large-scale solar and battery storage project. The company said the projects will support the growth of solar energy in Australia and contribute to the Queensland and Australian Government’s renewable energy and critical minerals strategic objectives.
