Ireland's installed photovoltaic capacity exceeds 680MW
The latest report from the Irish Solar Energy Association shows that to date around 680 MW of solar has been deployed across 59,888 generators in Ireland. Of this, micro-generation solar arrays (including systems up to 12 kilowatts in size) provided 208 MW. Small self-consumption ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants accounted for 95 MW, while small power generation systems of 12 to 50 kW accounted for 5 MW.
