The U.S. launches fifth anti-dumping sunset review investigation on silicon metal
On May 1, 2023, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a notice stating that it had initiated the fifth anti-dumping sunset review investigation on imports of silicon metal from China. On June 10, 1991, the U.S. Department of Commerce began formally imposing anti-dumping duties on imports of silicon metal from China. Since then, the U.S. has conducted four sunset reviews and made affirmative final determinations on the case.
